DLR researchers visit ICARUS

Maria Uebbing-Rumke and Michael Finke visit the ICARUS research group at UPC, Campus of Castelldefels, during the 23rd and 24th of March 2015.
Maria Uebbing-Rumke and Michael Finke, from the DLR Institute of Flight Guidance is the Air Traffic Management (ATM) competence centre . For airport airside management the institute is a “Research Centre of Excellence” in Europe.
Maria Uebbing-Rumke and Michael Finke belong to the Department of Controller Assistance, which objective are the safe, efficient, environmental friendly and reliable Air Traffic Management System. They work on the integrated and distributed assistance for the automation of
all ATC tasks, the optimisation of procedures, and the improvment of planning reliabilty in case of non foreseen events. During their visit the assist to a test simulation of the ERAINT SESAR WP-E project. Maria also present a seminar for ICARUS and show their last project involvements.
