GAMS: General Algebraic Modeling System
ICARUS have a license of GAMS suite, a system developed by GAMS Development Corporation.
- Platform: GNU/Linux x86
- Version 23.5.1
- Additional Licensed Solvers: CONOPT
The General Algebraic Modeling System (GAMS) is a high-level modeling system for mathematical programming and optimization. It consists of a language compiler and a stable of integrated high-performance solvers. GAMS is tailored for complex, large scale modeling applications, and allows you to build large maintainable models that can be adapted quickly to new situations.
FACET: Future ATM Concepts Evaluation Tool
ICARUS has been granted a research and academic license of FACET, a software developed by NASA-AMES research center.
- Software Version 5.1x
- Platform: GNU/Linux
The Future
ATM Concepts Evaluation Tool (FACET) is a flexible Air Traffic Management (
ATM) simulation environment that has been established for exploring, developing, and evaluating advanced
ATM concepts. The system can operate in a playback, simulation, live, or hybrid mode using the
FAA's Enhanced Traffic Management System (
ETMS) data along with wind and weather data from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (
NOAA) on a laptop computer.
eDEP: Early Demonstration Evaluation Platform
ICARUS (via the EETAC) has been granted a research and academic license of eDEP, a software developed by Eurocontrol.
- Software Release 8.3
- Multi-platfom
The aim of the
eDEP (Early Demonstration & Evaluation Platform) project is to produce a
low-cost,
lightweight, web-enabled ATM simulator platform, offering an ideal environment for research and advanced concept projects to rapid prototype application.
RAMS Plus
ICARUS (via the EETAC) has been granted a research and academic license of RAMS Plus, a software developed by ISA-Software.
- Software Version ????XXX
- Platform: Windows XP
RAMS Plus is a gate-to-gate ATC/ATM fast-time simulator tool, which helps you answer a spectrum of questions about your ATM system, from airspace design, capacity, working procedures, & safety concerns, to airport movements, capacity and delay.
Airbus Performance Engineering Programs (PEP)
ICARUS (via the EETAC) has been granted a research and academic license of PEP a software developed by Airbus.
- Software Version ????XXX
- Platform: Windows XP
The PEP for Windows working environment aims at providing the necessary tools to handle the performance aspects of flight preparation, but also monitor the aircraft performance after the flight. It is dedicated to airlines’ Flight operations departments. Based on the Microsoft Windows operating system, PEP for Windows is a stand-alone application, which offers access to all the Airbus aircraft performance computation programs in a user friendly and customizable environment. In addition to an easy-to-use setup tool, useful tools like the “Airport Manager”, the “Batch manager” and the “On-line Help” have been implemented
INM: Integrated Noise Model
ICARUS has two licenses of INM, a software developed by the FAA.
- Software Version ????XXX
- Platform: Windows XP
The Integrated Noise Model (
INM) is a computer model that evaluates aircraft noise impacts in the vicinity of airports. It is developed based on the algorithm and framework from SAE AIR 1845 standard, which used Noise-Power-Distance (NPD) data to estimate noise accounting for specific operation mode, thrust setting, and source-receiver geometry, acoustic directivity and other environmental factors. The INM can output either noise contours for an area or noise level at pre-selected locations. The noise output can be either exposure-based, maximum-level-based, or time-based.
BADA: Base of Aircraft Data
ICARUS (via the EPSC) has been granted access to BADA data base, which is maintained by Eurocontrol.
The Base of Aicraft Data (
BADA) is an Aircraft Performance Model (APM) with corresponding database. The main application of BADA is trajectory simulation and prediction within the domain of ATM (Air Traffic Management). BADA revisions are scheduled annually. Its current version (BADA 3.8) provides a set of ASCII files containing performance and operating procedure data for 318 different aircraft types.
