Enriqueta Patricia Becerra Sánchez (female) was born in México and is an Computer Sciences Engineer and specialty in Artificial Intelligence from Instituto Tecnológico de Cd. Guzmán, México in 2013. She received her M.Sc. Computer Sciences in 2015 from Universidad de Colima, México.

Currently, she is a full-time Ph.D. student in the department of Computer Architecture (DAC) from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC).

She joined the ICARUS Research Group in 2016 and her main research field is Machine Learning, pattern recognition, Bioinformatics and Statistical Analysis.

Leonardo Camargo Forero (male) is a Colombian Ph.D candidate in Aerospace Science & Technology at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. He is a Systems Engineer from Universidad Industrial de Santander in Bucaramanga, Colombia and holds a Master of Science in Ubiquitous Computing and Networking from Université Nice Sophia Antipolis in Nice, France.

His main research field is supercomputing architectures design and High Performance Computing (HPC) software development. Previously he has worked in different fields where supercomputing is used such as optics, space research and bioinformatics. Currently his research is focused on combining HPC concepts, architectures and software with the field of robotics within the scope of Ubiquitous Supercomputing. Raúl Cuadrado (male) was born in Barcelona and is a Telecommunications Engineer from the from the School of Telecommunications and Aerospace Engineering of Castelldefels (Escola d'Enginyeria de Telecommunicació i Aeroespacial de Castelldefels, EETAC), which belongs to the Technical  University of Catalonia (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, UPC). Currently he is a student of the Master of Science in Telecommunications Engineering and Management from the EPSC. Raúl started the  Master en 2009 since then has been working in the group as a junior researcher.

Ramon Dalmau (male) is an Aeronautical engineer from the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC). He joined the Icarus research group as intern in March 2013 and collaborated in research activities related with aircraft trajectory optimisation. In February 2014 he moved to the Netherlands Aerospace Center (NLR) for an internship related with the same topic.

He holds a Master on modelling for science and engineering from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), and performed his master thesis at the Catalan Center of Technology (EURECAT). Finally, in September 2015 he enrolled UPC as PhD candidate in the doctoral program of Aerospace Science and Technology.

His main research fields are control and guidance, trajectory optimisation and system identification and estimation.

Miguel-Ángel Fas-Millán (male) is a Computer Science Engineer from the Universitat Jaume I (UJI), holds a Master in Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), and is currently Ph. D candidate in Computer Architecture. The topic of the thesis is a concept of operations for a safe civil airspace integration of remotely piloted aircraft systems (RPAS). Marc Melgosa (male) is a researcher and Ph.D candidate at UPC. He is a Technical Aeronautical Engineer (EETAC, UPC) and Aeronautical Engineer (ETSEIAT, UPC).

Marc holds experience in ATM and ATFM purposes. This experience comes from his involvement in Icarus Research Group where he developed his Final Technical Engineering Project, which was related with the characterization of Ground Delay Programs initiatives and the application of speed reduction techniques for ATFM purposes. He has also knowledge in simulation issues. In his Final Engineering Project, he developed an airspace simulator in order to evaluate the dynamic robustness of the European network. In addition, he has experience in wake vortex phenomena and in wake vortex encounter modelling.

He has been involved in two H2020 Exploratory Research projects: APACHE and R-WAKE.

Marc Pérez was born in Barcelona in 1986 and is a Tecnical Aeronautical Engineer from the from the School of Telecommunications and Aerospace Engineering of Castelldefels (Escola d'Enginyeria de Telecommunicació i Aeroespacial de CastelldefelsEETAC), which belongs to the Technical  University of Catalonia (Universitat Politècnica de CatalunyaUPC). He also holds a degree in Telecommunications from the Escola Tècnica Superior d'Enginyeria de Telecomunicació de Barcelona (TelecomBCN) from the UPC. He is a Ph.D. candidate in Aerospace and Science and Technology.

Mr. Pérez has been working with UPC since 2008 and currently, he is a part-time professor and researcher at the EETAC. His research interests include the integration of RPAS in non-segregated airspace.

Raúl Sáez (male) is an Aeronautical Engineer from the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC), and currently a researcher and PhD Candidate in Aerospace Science & Technology at UPC. He joined the ICARUS Research Group as intern in March 2014 and did research on aircraft performance modeling in flight simulators. In March 2015, he did an internship related with the same topic in the German Aerospace Center (DLR) in Braunschweig.

He holds a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering (major in Embedded Systems) from the ISAE Supaero School in Toulouse, and performed his Master Thesis in Thales Avionics Toulouse, which was related with the estimation of aircraft performance parameters during take-off. In November 2017, he started a PhD at UPC.

His research topics are mainly trajectory optimization and System Identification & Parameter Estimation.

Yan Xu is currently a Ph.D. student in Aerospace Science and Technology at the Technical University of Catalonia. He received his M.Sc. and B.Eng. in Traffic Engineering from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in 2015 and 2012. His research area mainly involves the air traffic flow management techniques under the trajectory based operations.
